Veteran actor Mehdi Sabbaghi passes away

Veteran Iranian actor Mehdi Sabbaghi has passed away at the age of 71.

The late actor died on Thursday evening at his home after being discharged from the hospital.

Born in 1951 in Mashhad, Sabbaghi started his career in cinema and starred in a movie titled ‘Scape from City’ directed by Mohammad-Reza Safavi in 1986.

He played in several movies, including ‘Border of Happiness’ by Hossein Soheilizadeh, ‘Ice Flower’ by Kioumars Pourahmad, ‘Star Café’ by Saman Moqaddam, and Sirous Moqaddam’s series ‘Young Police’.
